Calendar Sync

Valant allows providers to export their Calendars to other 3rd party devices like Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, iCal and other 3rd party apps. Providers can do this by logging in to the Mobile Site on a phone, tablet, or computer. This let's users put work schedules on top of existing personal calendar. It also lets others see your schedule in Valant, even if they don’t have a Valant account. Some important things to remember:

  • Calendar apps typically refresh or sync on a regular interval, which can vary from several times an hour to once daily, depending on the app.
  • Some calendar apps may allow you to change the sync interval and some may not. This is not a setting that Valant can change or update on your end.
  • If you need help troubleshooting calendar sync, contact the maker of your calendar app. Our support team cannot fully provide support for third-party software. and about Google Calendar specifically "It might take up to 12 hours for changes to show in your Google Calendar."
  • The Calendar Sync is one way. There is not a way to update the Valant calendar from another app.
