MYIO will improve on existing patient portal functionality, but will offer a new modern look and feel!

Your portal will still operate a lot like it does today. Here are the five changes you and your patients will see:

1. MYIO will be accessible via a brand new mobile application and desktop or mobile browser. Your patients will have flexibility and choice in how they want to interact with your practice!
2. Your patient portal URL will change, but the current portal URL will automatically redirect. This will be the URL for patients to access MYIO via desktop or mobile browser.
3. There will be new easy ways to invite new patients to MYIO via text or email! Express and Email validation will become "Invite to MYIO Portal" - you will enter the patient's phone number or email address to send them a text or email invitation; you will also have a new way to automate sending MYIO account invitations.
4. There are no additional validation steps - MYIO onboarding is designed for patients to self-manage once they receive their invitation. Account invitations via text and email will include an access code to verify identity.
5. MYIO will include an all-new onboarding workflow, enabling you to capture demographic, insurance, and credit card details directly from patients that flows into their chart. You can choose whether to require patients enter insurance and/or payment details during MYIO onboarding.

Some commonly requested enhancements will include:

• Updated secure messaging with the ability to send attachments
• Easier MYIO portal account creation to simplify patient onboarding, with an automated portal invitation feature through the Patient Communications module
• New patient demographics onboarding process - patients enter their own information, which flows directly into Valant
• Ability for patients to initiate secure messages to customizable inboxes
• And more!

Here are the top things to know now:

• MYIO will be accessible via mobile app and desktop or mobile browser
• Patients’ current portal account logins will work in MYIO! No need to change usernames or passwords
• Practice portal URLs will change, but your current URL will automatically redirect to your new MYIO site
• There will be one easy way to invite new patients to MYIO, sent via text or email
  • Invitation will include an access code and a link to your new MYIO URL
  • Patients will enter their access code first, then create a username and password
