CES-DC - Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale for Children

Description

The Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale for Children is a 20-item self-report depression inventory for children/adolescents ages 6-17. It is a modified form of the adult scale (CES-D).

Special Instructions

1. Choose the answers that best describe feelings/actions in the last week.

2. Once the patient has submitted it, you may preview it on the uninitialed documents tab in the EMR. However, do not initial it or it won't later be pulled into your Mobile Note.

Interpretation

15+ can be indicative of significant levels of depressive symptoms
