The File Actions section is used to perform miscellaneous file actions in the Valant Suite EHR

Definitions

• Display CCD/CCR: present a CCD (Continuity of Care Document) that has been saved in XML format
• Import Lab Results: open a lab results file in .TXT format that can be imported into a patient's chart
• Message Digest: open an HL7 file from an outside source
• Encrypt: encrypt a text file and make the contents non-human-readable
• Decrypt: remove encryption from a text file that was previously encrypted with the Valant EHR
